People spend years relying on traditional dating avenues (bars, set-ups, etc.) to help them find love, so why should online dating be any different? Sometimes you might have to stick with it for a while. Sure, online dating sites want to make a profit; otherwise they couldn’t stay in business or expand their features for customers. But plenty of people have success with many of these sites. Online dating should never be your only avenue – it’s just one tool in your tool belt. I wholeheartedly agree that people need to expand their networks, try new things, join organizations, and just be an all-around friendly, outgoing person.
